How to adopt a child who was rescued from the polygamist sect?
Hi all, my wife and I are planning to adopt a child of these children that were recently rescued from the polygamist sect in Texas. I learned that about 160 of these children in orphanages are now .. How should we proceed in this matter? What Who should we contact? What are the issues / problems in this area?
Hello Google Reddy This is certainly a tragic situation going on there in Texas, right? As a poster above, the United States orphanages. What happens when the security services is that they move children to other families who have been pre-certified by the state to provide foster homes. The goal of foster care is supposed to be with natural families after the parents have had time and resources to correct the problems have led to where the children were in danger in the first place. What's an example from Texas is the only one not is the mothers who abuse their children. Mothers are also victims here and saved the polygamous sect. What I can predict is that it will make efforts to keep mothers with their children and help all of them are able to care for themselves independently of both the sect and the state. I am sure that these families will love. Who have experienced traumatic events lately and that would only aggravate permanently separated from their families above all else. They are facing a mini-culture shock only in the outside world for the first time. They have directed additional requirements. However, there are still about 140,000 other children currently pending in the United States for adoptive families.
