I have heard many good things about Bethany and I want to work with Christian organizations only. If you or someone you know has experience with them please let me know how they are. Please do not answer the question with references to their website or something that was pulled out of line because I read about everything I could find online. I just want to experience real life or second-hand accounts. Thanks in advance!

World Christian Adoption – who adopt them? What was your experience? Are you a Christian?
We want to adopt from Kyrgyzstan, but there are very few organizations that offer this program. Any opinions on this particular issue would be appreciated.
I have some friends who have adopted from China through them and loved them, and meet others who have had a horrible experience. I know there was a big controversy with the adoption agency and some Africans. Apparently, mixed references and not to admit the problems and not repaired. I also heard that they have refused to allow people to adopt children with HIV, people who specifically wanted the adoption of these children. And yes, you have to be a Christian to use and make you sign something to that effect.
